Another week has flown by & we’ve been busy…

We’ve been to Liverpool hoping to see our friend Ruth… unfortunately, she went into hospital and was not up to visitors but it gave us a chance to spend some time with Billy Hughes at Ruth’s house catching up on how things have been so by no means a wasted trip! We will head back over to Liverpool again this coming week now that Ruth has returned home so hope to see her, along with Billy and Terri again, very soon!

I’ve been to see Mum – twice as it turns out! The first time last Wednesday on my own and the second, after a literal flying visit from brother Andy who flew into the UK last night, and left on the mid-afternoon bus to London earlier today! It was great to also speak to brother Chris whilst we were with Mum – sorry you were not able to join us brother Steve!!

We’ve been on another over-night house-hunting trip up to Cumbria, Northumberland and the Scottish Borders and put in an offer on the Scotland house!

Our house has gone on the market and we had our first viewing yesterday (8th) – the couple who visited have given positive feedback online so we’re hopeful, if they can find a buyer for their property, we might progress with the purchase of our new home – being in a property chain is already nerve-wracking! Pete said he spotted another couple having a look at the house earlier today too so we’re hopeful we’ll have some more viewings booked in soon 🤞

We have watched England beat France in the Rugby 6 Nations – woo-hoo! Oh, and I’ve had my haircut too! All in all, a pretty busy week! 😅 Think I need a holiday 🤣
